This season and this shoe was part of a defining moment for Michael Jordan and all of the Air Jordans.To celebrate the defining moment of Jordan’s first championship, Nike released a commemorative Black/Gold Air Jordan 6 packaged with a White/Black/Gold Jordan 11 sold as the “Defining Moments Package”.The Air Jordan Retro 6 was released for the 1991-92 season.
